After creating hundreds of millionaires through her coaching business and five New York Times best-selling books, Loral Langemeier is no stranger to money and the attention that topic attracts to her business. Yet, she says her motivation to succeed reaches far beyond her bank account.
“If you have a mission bigger than yourself, you won’t fall down,” The Millionaire Maker said. “But the mission has to be beyond making money, and just yourself and just what you want to do for your own life. It’s got to be able a larger service and a larger impact.”
For Loral, the mission to change the world’s focus from occupations to entrepreneurship is so important, she says it is entrenched in everything she does.
But, in addition to ensuring her life’s work addresses the need to teach people how to operate beyond the 9-to-5 rat race, Langemeier also concedes a change in DNA is necessary to motivate entrepreneurs to do extraordinary things.
“If you listen to a lot of people who teach, you know, success principles, teach discipline, persistence, it isn’t just about putting that on a goal sheet and saying, ‘Okay, I’m going to have integrity today, and I’m going to get up and be disciplined today,” Langemeier said.
“It’s got to be just who you are and how you live.”
