Real Estate Worth is Only as Good as Your Database

If you haven’t began branching out into real estate or haven’t made the splash you dreamt of, Loral Langemeier said having a quality list of buyers and sellers is as important as the properties themselves.

Pointing to real estate entrepreneurs Lance Edwards and Ron LeGrand as examples, Langemeier said the information side of this business can help you attain millions in real estate.

“You’re looking at what I call the marriage model,” she said. “You’re looking for somebody who wants to buy a house or an apartment or invest in real estate, and they’re not ready to today so you provide them information that’s valuable to them. Ask them what they want.”

Then, stay in touch with them, Langemeier said, providing them with information marketing until they are ready to buy. This is the strategy a couple of clients had when they approached her on the Miami real estate venture she’s working on.

“You know, if they wouldn’t have stayed in touch with me, you know, somebody else could have gotten them,” Loral said.

“It was their pursuance of me and them building that database, which is what I taught them early on. Get a proper electronic database. Not a Rolodex. Not a recipe box. Get a proper electronic database and do it quickly.”
