(NASHVILLE)— A 4.66 acre tract will become the site of a 291-unit apartment complex after it was fetched by a Birmingham, Ala., developer last week for $5.9 million, The Tennessean reports.
Demolition will begin on the site of the former Nashville Rehabilitation Hospital, 1034 W. Eastland Ave., where LIV Development LLC plans to build the new complex.
A smaller tract of land will be sold to a local developer, who plans on building 17 townhomes on the property, the company announced.
Construction could begin within a month upon obtaining all necessary permits, The Tennessean reports. Hoar Construction will oversee the project as general contractor. Smith Gee Studio LLC is the architect.
